Description
Nanao is often accosted by her captain, whose teasing takes various forms. When she is particularly annoyed she removes her glasses. Though her face has never been shown while doing so, this act is apparently quite frightening as most characters who see it are reduced to gibbering wrecks just by witnessing it. She becomes lieutenant of the 1st Division alongside the division's 3rd Seat, Genshirō Okikiba, after Shunsui's promotion to captain-commander, following Yamamoto's death. She is revealed to have been chosen as Shunsui's lieutenant because of her well-verse in kidō, as shown when she creates a special kidō capable of blocking the Wandenreich during their second invasion of Soul Society.

Her nails are painted turquoise, which complements the vibrant colors used in the background. The overall atmosphere suggests that she is attending an event or gathering related to Japanese culture, possibly a cosplay convention or festival. The woman's pose and expression convey confidence and poise, as if she is ready to take on any challenge or adventure that comes her way.
