The painting depicts Ophelia sitting in a boat on a riverbank, surrounded by lush greenery and flowers. Her long hair flows down her back as she gazes downward, lost in thought. The background is dominated by the dark blue sky with white clouds, while the foreground features the tranquil river and its banks.
