Rinoa Heartilly is the co-protagonist of Square Enix's Final Fantasy VIII.
Rinoa is a 17-year-old member of a resistance faction known as the Forest Owls. When the main protagonist Squall Leonhart and his party of SeeD help the resistance movement, Rinoa decides to stay with them and ends up falling in love with Squall.
