Amy Pond

Amy Pond is a companion of the eleventh Doctor. She appears in the program from the fifth series (2010) to midway through the seventh series (2012). The Doctor first meets Amy when she is seven years old. He promises to return to the lonely girl in five minutes and take her with him in his time and space machine the TARDIS, but accidentally arrives twelve years later, by which time Amy has become cynical about her imaginary friend. However, she eventually decides to travel with him, and the duo are later joined by her fiance Rory Williams.

Doctor Who is a British science fiction television program produced by the BBC. The show depicts the adventures of a Time Lord, a time travelling, humanoid alien known as the Doctor. He explores the universe in his TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimension in Space), a sentient time-travelling space ship. Its exterior appears as a blue British police box, a common sight in Britain in 1963, when the series first aired. Along with a succession of companions, the Doctor faces a variety of foes while working to save civilizations, help ordinary people, and right wrongs.
