Hi, I'm the feminized Rabbit in the first picture.

The group here are all big fans of the band Steam Powered Giraffe, and upon the approaching Otakon, we all discovered a tumblr post by our Hatchworth that she was planning a photo gathering and that any Steam Powered Giraffe cosplayers were welcome. Some of us knew each other prior, but some, like I was, were totally new to the group upon meeting. There were many of us there, close to 11 or 12 at one point, but the ones you see here were lucky enough to run into Yenra Photography when first gathering.

From top to bottom you'll see: female Rabbit, Walter Girl Ellie, Walter Girl Rivet, Roe, Hatchworth, Sirrae, and The Spine; half of us were dressing as band members themselves, and half of us as original characters. It is very common in the fan community on tumblr to create original robotic characters or Walter Workers based on the lore behind Steam Powered Giraffe and their storyline.

I think I speak on behalf of my new family of friends when I say that we really enjoyed the opportunity to be photographed by and perform for the many attendees, both in miming comedy and in singing. For more of our particular group, we use the tag "spg otakon" on tumblr. :)
